Matthew Nobles currently serves as the Director of Sustainability Accounting & Controllership at GE Vernova, where he leads the development and implementation of the corporate framework for sustainability accounting and reporting, ensuring alignment with global sustainability standards and strategic business objectives. Matthew has been with GE for more than 16 years and has a proven leadership track record in Finance, Audit and Compliance, working on four continents and across multiple industries. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Florida, has completed executive education programs in Sustainability at Harvard and MIT, and has multiple certifications including CMA, CIA, CFE, FSA, and GRI. Based in Dubai since 2011, Matthew balances his professional life with personal interests in the financial markets, reading, and spending valuable time with his family.
