Eduardo Andrade

Former Global Compliance and Ethics Officer

Professor Andrade is the former Senior Vice President, Global Compliance & Ethics Officer & Associate General Counsel of Booking Holdings Inc. He joined Booking Holdings, formerly known as the Priceline Group, in 2005 and led the global compliance & ethics function until his retirement in 2023. He was responsible for the creation, implementation and oversight of the compliance & ethics program across its six operating brands which included Booking.com, Priceline.com, KAYAK, OpenTable and Agoda. Professor Andrade also served as associate general counsel being responsible for the global data privacy program.

Prior to joining Booking Holdings, Professor Andrade practiced corporate law at Paul Hastings in Stamford, Connecticut, and at Winston & Strawn LLP in New York City. Prior to studying law, he worked in the film industry and served as Harrison Ford’s stand-in for the films Patriot Games, The Fugitive, and Clear and Present Danger.  In addition to his teaching, rumor has it that Professor Andrade has returned to being a fledgling actor in his retirement.

Professor Andrade also serves on the board and as Chair of the Nominating & HR Committee of Guiding Eyes for the Blind, a not for profit guide dog school in Yorktown Heights, NY. He also served on the board of Thomas Publishing Company, an industrial trade information and technology business, founded in 1898 until its sale and purchase by Xometry (nasdaq: XMTR), is a former member of the Board of Fellows of his alma mater, Trinity College (CT) and was a past President of the Westport Public Library Board of Trustees.

Professor Andrade received a Bachelor of Arts from Trinity College (Connecticut) and a Juris Doctor/Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University. He is admitted to the New York and Connecticut Bar. He is a Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) by the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
