Courtney Lewis has spent her entire career in the investment management industry. She is currently chief compliance officer and general counsel for Marshall Wace North America LP, the New York office of the large global asset management firm based in the United Kingdom. Prior to Marshall Wace, she was the general counsel and chief compliance officer at Hound Partners LLC after acting as compliance officer and counsel to Systematic Financial Management LP. She completed both her Juris Doctor and master’s in international political economy and development at Fordham University, and her Bachelor of Arts at New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. She currently resides in New York with her husband, daughter, and twin boys, and also serves as an executive board member of Literacy Partners, a nonprofit literacy organization.
