Nellie Binder
Founder, Woven Impact Advisors
As founder and principal consultant at Woven Impact Advisors, Nellie Binder empowers corporate change makers to amplify their business-based purpose. In addition to running her own corporate impact practice, she is an executive advisor at the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship where she focuses on impact strategy, bench-marking, and disclosure roadmaps. Binder also serves as a director at the Climate Action Business Association, managing a state-wide study of climate policy and business engagement.
Prior to founding Woven Impact, Binder worked as the first corporate social responsibility associate attorney at Ropes & Gray LLP, a preeminent international law firm. There, she helped develop the Corporate Social Responsibility Group into a multi-faceted, industry-leading global practice.
Binder guest lectures on corporate impact and sustainability at universities across the Northeast. She is also a certified yoga and meditation instructor, holistic lifestyle coach, and avid nature-based traveler.
Binder received her BA in International Relations from the University of Connecticut and her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School. In law school, Binder served as an editor on the Suffolk University Law Review. She also holds a certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Pennsylvania.
